THE DECK & PLANTER ADDITION is Usonia House at the smallest scale of exterior work: a front deck, integral planters, and a rain barrel with chain, each drawn before it was built. Small projects deserve design too. They're the ones you touch every day.

The Rain Chain.

Roof water gets celebrated instead of hidden. A chain carries it to a barrel, and the barrel feeds the planters.
